At Tava Health, we believe mental healthcare works best when providers have the tools and autonomy to support their clients in the way that fits best. Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of Provider Managed Clients, a powerful new feature that gives therapists more flexibility in how they bring and manage their own clients on the Tava platform.
This update reflects one of our core product values: provider-first design. The Tava Health product and engineering teams have been working closely with a group of providers to test new features and ensure the roadmap supports their needs. We’ve heard consistently that flexibility matters, especially when it comes to onboarding clients and maintaining continuity of care. With Provider Managed Clients, therapists can now:
For each client, providers can choose between two experience types. Full Access Clients create a Tava account to self-serve their therapy experience, whereas Limited Access Clients are more hands-off. Both options increase provider autonomy and client customization while continuing to document and bill sessions through Tava.
As we continue to expand this functionality, we’re working closely with providers to understand how we can further enhance custom workflows and access-level transitions to build a comprehensive EHR that meets all provider needs.
This launch marks a significant step forward in building a more flexible, clinician-friendly platform, staying true to our mission of making meaningful connections between providers and clients accessible and easy.
