Client Product Updates Q2 2026

Accessing mental healthcare shouldn’t require cost guesswork, coverage anxiety, or unexpected charges. It should feel straightforward, reliable, and flexible, with clear options for how care will be covered and an easier path to finding the right provider. Over the last few months, we’ve made a series of updates designed to make care more transparent, dependable, and user-friendly on Tava Health.

Clear Coverage and Payment Choices

We introduced a more flexible booking experience that gives clients clear visibility into available coverage options while scheduling. Clients can now choose different payment methods for specific sessions, update that selection any time before the appointment starts, and add a new card or insurance plan without leaving the booking flow. This update gives clients more control when they need it most.

Upfront Cost Transparency

Knowing what care is likely to cost helps you move forward with confidence. We now show estimated session costs during intake and scheduling for clearer expectations before booking. The result is a simpler experience with fewer billing surprises and more trust in the care journey from the very beginning.

More Support When Sessions Don’t Go as Planned

If a provider is late or a session is disrupted, clients now receive fast answers and next-step options. We’ve expanded our no-show and late-session experience so clients stay informed instead of being left in the dark. After a delay, clients are guided through what to expect next and can message their provider, reschedule, report a no-show, or switch providers depending on the situation. We’ve also improved tracking for provider late cancellations, reschedules, and no-shows to support faster follow-up and a better overall client experience.

Better Feedback After Sessions

High-quality care gets better when feedback is easier to give and more useful to act on. We’ve made changes to better capture care quality, client satisfaction, and therapeutic alignment. These updates strengthen how Tava measures the care experience and help inform future improvements across the platform.

Easier Search for In-Person Care

Finding the right provider should include the right format of care. Clients can now filter provider search results by virtual or in-person care and use location and radius filters to narrow in-person options more easily. This makes it faster to find the right provider fit.

More updates are always in the works. As we continue to grow, we remain focused on making high-quality mental healthcare accessible and easy for everyone.
